Today, the internet is loaded with various viral food content. But what tops the list are weird food combinations. You must have come across many such recipe videos where two completely different ingredients are mixed together to create something new. Two of the ingredients commonly used in such recipes are Maggi and gulab jamun. We saw Maggi made in Rooh Afza, milk, soft drinks and more. Then there is gulab jamun pakoda, gulab jamun paratha and the list goes on. A recent addition to the list is gulab jamun chaat. That’s right! We recently came across a video where a roadside chaat vendor was seen preparing a plate of chaat with gulab jamun, dahi, imli chutney, dhania chutney, etc.
Twitter user Mayur Sejpal uploaded a video on his controller and wrote along with it: “Show me worse than this… Kya hai ye (what is this)?” He added, “Aise kaise koi kar sakta he gulab jamun ke sath (How can someone do this with gulab jamun)?” The video also features a man who has actually tried the dish and has a confused (facial) reaction to it. This tweet also confused some other Twitter users. The video post received 24.3k views and hundreds of comments, where people shared their thoughts on the same topic.
“I’m sure these people wouldn’t try such nonsense with Biriyani!” said one user, to which another responded, “Are you sure… There’s strawberry biryani, nutella biryani, rosgolla biryani too!”
Another wrote, “Those who make this kind of food and also those who eat and post such videos will have to stay in Tihar. Life in prison.” To this, one added, “And they should be fed these for lunch, dinner.”
