Storm Ian: Protests as Cuba capital Havana remains in darkness

Protests took place in the streets of Havana, Cuba, after Hurricane Ian battered the entire country on September 27.

Only parts of the city have their lights back on, inspiring people to take to the dark streets to protest the government’s response.

Outside the capital, much of the island remains without power as crews of workers are trying to repair power poles damaged in the storm.
