The S&P 500 index fell 0.3% in early trading on Thursday. The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 0.2% and the tech-focused Nasdaq Composite Index fell 0.5%. Prior to that, stock index futures were up but quickly fell after the ECB’s plan was announced.
