Steve Smith has kept in good contact during the ongoing ODI series between Australia and England. The right-handed hitter has so far scored 174 runs in two games in this series. While he remained undefeated with 80 points in the first set, Smith scored 94 runs in the second set. The runs come from his cane and his confidence is also showing. The player, who relies heavily on textbook photos, surprised the crowd at the Sydney Cricket Ground on Saturday with an attempted conversion hit.
It was a free shot on day 32 of the Australian round. Adil Rashid bowled a ball with no to Mitchell Swamp. The delivery also saw Smith and Marsh grab one. This saw Smith receive the shot for a free serve.
In an attempt to try something new, Smith took a switch shot. However, Rashid cleverly made a footfall out of Smith’s reach but within the playing area to turn it into a dot ball.

Speaking of matches, Australia beat England with 72 runs to take a 2-0 lead in a three-match ODI series. Mitchell’s star returns the number 4 for 47 and Adam Zampa also starred with a score of 4 to 45 as Australia overtook England with 208 runs in 38.5 rounds.
It’s a Steven Smith’94 and fifty words Marnus Labuschagne (58) and Mitchell Marsh (50) took Australia to a total of 280 to 8 at SCG despite Adil Rashid’s 3 to 57.
