Steph Curry: ‘It’s Time’ I’m a Typist

No player in NBA history has scored more goals three pointers than Steph Curry’s Golden Empire Warriors yes, but somehow the beat-by-horn game winner he took on Friday night is something new for the sniper.

“It’s about time I made one,” Curry said in a post-game interview. “It was my first one!”

Curry, 33, didn’t have the cleanest night against the Houston Rockets. He made just six of his 21 shot attempts and only four of his 13 from outside the arc. But with five seconds remaining and the match ending at 103-103, Curry found the gap with a step back and nailed 20 feet at the time.

Curry finished with 22 points and 12 assists. The Warriors started the season with an 18-2 scoreline, but it’s only been 15-11 since. Friday night’s win moved the team to 33-13 for the year. The Rockets fell 14-33 and remained in last place in the Western Conference.
