Start delivery of Ultraviolette F77 electric bike

Ultraviolette is aiming to open its first dealership in Bengaluru in March.

Deliveries of the Ultraviolette F77 have begun three months since Official launch. With the company’s first dealership scheduled to open in March, deliveries are now happening directly from Ultraviolette’s production facility in Bengaluru. The F77 is priced from Rs 3.80 lakh-4.55 Rs (old showroom, Delhi), which pretty much puts it in a space of its own in the electric two-wheeler space. Compared to a gasoline-powered two-wheeler, it is priced between the KTM RC 390 and the Kawasaki Ninja 400.

we had the opportunity to driving F77, both on the track as well as on the road, and we found its performance to be comparable to that of a 250-300cc bike. It also boasts one of the most impressive range numbers of any electric two-wheeler in India today, with a range of 307 km according to IDC for the higher-spec Recon variant. . This is thanks to the largest battery pack installed on any electric two-wheeler in India, with a remarkable capacity of 10.3 kWh. For reference, something like the Ola S1 Pro has a 4kWh unit.

At the time of delivery, Ultraviolette also announced plans to raise an additional $120 million (approximately Rs 992cr) in the next round of funding. The company said the money will be used for “global expansion plans” and “vehicle platform development efforts”. It has now raised $55 million (approximately Rs 455 billion), with major investors being TVS Motor, Europe’s ExOR Capital, and US-based Qualcomm Ventures.
