Square Enix has disclose The new wappen badge is modeled after characters from Final Fantasy Pixel Remake series of products. The company will release the items in September 2024. The company has opened pre-orders for these badges on Japanese Electronics Store.
The back of these badges has an adhesive portion, so owners can easily stick them on like stickers or iron them on. However, Square Enix recommends sewing the items on if you want to apply them to clothing that needs to be washed frequently.
The Character Badges will be available in two separate volumes. Volume 1 will feature characters from the first three entries in the series, while Volume 2 will include Final Fantasy IV, VAnd VI. Each volume will be available in an 8-in-1 pack for the same price of 7,480 yen (~$51.60). However, the contents of the packs will be completely randomized, so there is no guarantee that buyers will be able to receive all eight unique badges in a single purchase.
Square Enix has been heavily promoting Pixel Remasters of the first six installments Final Fantasy main entry. In mid-August 2024, the company launched promotional videos showing the games at JR-East Shinjuku Station. It will also additional physical copies of the collection on PS4 and Switch in October 2024.
The Final Fantasy Pixel Remake Character wappen badge will be available on September 21, 2024.
