This update focuses on making it possible to use certain amiibo features even when not connected to the internet, as well as adjusting the balance of battles.
We’ve adjusted the Splattershot and Splattershot Pro specs with the aim of expanding the range of situations these primary weapons can handle. Additionally, these weapons have specifications that form the standard for many other weapons. By improving these, we also intend to make room for further improvements to the specs for weapons with similar distance specializations as these in balance changes in the future.
As for the other core weapons, we’ve made changes that play to their strengths and make it easier for players to use them frequently.
For Fizzy Bombs, although the effectiveness of the strategy of continuously throwing Fizzy Bombs from afar will be reduced, by making it easier to focus damage on the target and create ink lines, we’ve made it easier to support movement. Moving to the front line becomes easier.
As for Torpedoes, by giving them more time to shoot them down, we’ve made it easier for the player they’re thrown at to deal with them. Additionally, by making them easier to throw when aiming at the back or rear of an enemy, we have improved their usability for players who use them.
For Autobombs, we’ve made changes to make it easier to take advantage of their ability to detect enemies swimming in ink.
With the Angle Shooter, we’ve made changes to make it easier for you to take advantage of its trait that affects enemies further away than its other secondary weapons.
For the Booyah Bomb, we’ve made changes to make it easier to take advantage of its properties even in fast-paced battles between experienced players.
The next update will focus on changes to the balance of battles based on long-term analysis of battle data.
