Splatoon 3 ‘Sizzle Season 2024’ Introduces New Weapons, Stages, and Massive Run Mode Next Month

Nintendo just revealed our first look at the Splatoon 3is the ‘Sizzle Season 2024’ update and it looks like it’s going to be a big one.

Begin June 1, the annual Sizzle Season will bring several new weapons and stages as well as a variation of the Big Run game mode called ‘BIG Big Run’. Yes really.

So let’s see what’s heading to Splatlands this time, shall we? Start with one Brand new Turf War stageLemuria Hub uses a series of moving parts to mix up the battlefield and keep things fresh.

There is also a lot new weapon. The Wellstring V appears to be a long-range Stringer, capable of destroying enemies from afar while the Mint Decavitator can perform the most spectacular Splatana attack — get ready to live out your Splatland samurai dreams, guys.

Finally, the season trailer introduces New ‘BIG Big Run’ modeyou’ll find yourself facing off against a trio of deadly bosses in the featured ‘Triumvirate Assault’ battle.

Of course, this is just the reveal trailer so we’re sure there will be plenty of other newcomers arriving in the coming weeks – a new catalog and music seems to be in store at this point.
