Spidey Crashes Awards Party, Snags Denver Corporation Best Picture Nominee
Recently, Variety magazine made an unsolicited offer to Oscar voters.
Don’t miss it”Spider-Man: There’s no way home, ” The biggest box office hit during the pandemic. Sure, it doesn’t look or feel like awards season catnip, but voters should consider it anyway.
I hate ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home.’ But the Academy should absolutely nominate it for best picture (column) https://t.co/RvRuijo0Yk

Why?
The Oscars could become culturally meaningless if voters continue to ignore box office breakthroughs.
Some Colorado-based critics have kept that message in mind, or they feel the wall crawler deserves a spot on the Oscars season rankings with or without any prompts. any reminder.
“No Way Home” earned three Denver Film Critics Association nominations today, including best F/X film, best sci-fi/horror film, and best coveted film.
Other films earned even more nominations, including “The Power of the Dog” (seven), “Dune” (six) and “Belfast” (four). However, the “Spider-Man” nomination suggests that critics may be more willing to appreciate superhero movies.
