SpiceJet flight with 197 passengers onboard makes emergency landing at Kochi airport | India News
KOCHI: ONE SpiceJet Flight from Jeddah (Saudi Arabia) limit for Kozhikode An airport spokesman said that 197 passengers, including six crew members, had to make an emergency landing at Cochin International Airport (CIAL) on Friday night following a hydraulic failure.
He said a state of emergency was declared at the airport at 6:29 pm after SpiceJet flight 036, scheduled to land at Kozhikode airport, was diverted to Kochi.
“A full state of emergency was declared at Kochi airport at 18:29,” the spokesman said.
“The flight landed safely at 19:19 on the runway following an emergency landing,” he added.
