NEW DELHI: Seasoned All-rounder Deepti Sharma on Wednesday became the first Indian international to hit the 100-goal mark in the T20Is. Deepti achieved the feat in India’s second match against the West Indies at T20 Women’s World Cup in Cape Town.
Deepti hit the 100-stroke mark in the final match of the West Indies round when she beat Aly Fletcher (0).
The 24-year-old brought home impressive numbers of 3 to 15 when she helped India limit West Indian Women to less than 118 to 6 denominations.
Her two other goals in the match include Stafanie Taylor (42) and Shemaine Campbelle (30).

West Indies off-spinner Anisa Mohammed (125) currently holds the record for most hits in the women’s T20I.
Anisa is followed by Nida Dar of Pakistan (121) and Ellyse Perry (120) of Australia in second and third place respectively.
Deepti is currently ranked 9th in the list of female cricketers with the most goals in T20Is.
