Soumillon Rides First winner since 60 days suspension

Jockey Christophe Soumillon rode his first winner since returning from 60 days suspension with his first horseback riding in France. He was on the train Black Milord Tavel (Fr) (Saddex {GB}) on Saturday, who beat coach Eric Lecoiffier in the two-mile Chantilly by head.
The Belgian rider has been suspended for elbowing jockey Rossa Ryan out of the saddle during a race at Saint-Cloud on September 30. Soumillon, who lost his subordinate to Prince Aga Khan due to elbow incidentwent to South Africa last weekend and he also had a ride at Meydan in Dubai on Friday, but didn’t score a winner.
His ban covers potentially lucrative international expeditions, including QIPCO British Championship Day, Breeders’ Cup, G1 Japan Cup and Longines Hong Kong International Races. Herve Naggar is his current agent.
