Souldiers will now roll out in early June
Those excited to get their hands on the classic action RPG Souldiers will have to wait a few more weeks.
Retro Forge developer announced that Souldiers will miss May 19 release and now arrives on June 2. The delay gives the team more time to work through some lingering technical kinks, with creative director Alberto Hernández writing in a press release:
“We’re very pleased with the overall look of Souldiers, but we still have some bugs to work out and we want to make sure that when we release the game – and ask consumers to spend the hard money Earn their money on it – that they’re getting a premium experience that’s error-free. ”
Souldiers is perhaps best described as a 16-bit combination of Metroid exploration, RPG progression, and Soul-like combat. As a scout, caster or archer, you will battle across a fantasy land that straddles the border between life and death. You can check out the original announcement trailer this to see it in action.
You can play Souldiers on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC.
