Sophie Monk has shared about her plan to have a baby with her husband Joshua Gross.
The Beauty and the Geek presenter, 42, told The Kyle and Jackie O show on Wednesday that she’s received some ‘bad news’ and the pair are currently ‘taking a break’.
‘It’s just complicated. I don’t know when it will happen or what will happen,’ Sophie explained of her birth journey.

Sophie, who frozen her eggs at the age of 38, added: ‘We have good news and bad news, and now we will rest and relax.’
It comes after Sophie told Who magazine she desperately wanted to start a family but also accepted the possibility that she wouldn’t be able to have children her age.
“We’re working towards that and if it happens it will be unbelievable, but if it doesn’t happen it doesn’t mean it,” she said.
‘That’s the only way you can look at it. I strongly believe that everything happens for a reason. ‘
“We’ve had good news and bad news and now we’re going to rest and relax,” Sophie told The Kyle and Jackie O show
Sophie said she and robotics consultant Joshua, 41, are ‘definitely trying’.
The Love Island host previously said they both want to have a baby one day.
The couple eloped at their home on the NSW Central Coast in March, which comes as a surprise to fans as they haven’t announced a wedding date yet.
It comes after Sophie told Who magazine she wanted to start a family but also accepted the possibility that she might not be able to have children her age.
It was an intimate meeting with no guests in attendance.
The couple first met on a flight from Europe to Australia in August 2018 and kissed after enjoying ‘three champions’ in business class.
They became closer as Joshua helped Sophie recover from endometriosis surgery, and around this time she also began the process of freezing her eggs.
