Sony’s next wireless headphones could offer ‘auto playback’
If you think that Link of Sony too much exposure to the outside world, don’t worry – there might be a sequel to help you sort things out. As Pedestrian blog NoteSnoopyTech recently established leaked poster shared purported image of the WF-LSN900 wireless headphones, possibly called the LinkBuds S. Unlike the open LinkBuds, this model will allow you to “switch continuously” from allowing ambient sound to letting in “enhanced” noise cancellation. You’ll also have “automatic playback” based on your habits, although it’s not clear what that will lead to – Sony already has some location-based sound settings.
The design seems to be a mix of WF-1000XM4 and WF-C500, and will include an XM4-style proximity sensor as well as an external mesh that can be used for noise cancellation features. The buds will come in black, yellow, and white, and you can expect the forced charging case.
Not sure when Sony will be able to ship these headphones or how much they will cost. We also won’t take into account the LinkBuds S naming scheme with a different design. At least you might not have to wait long to find out the truth. Some FCC privacy information for the WF-LSN900 is set to expire on June 21, suggesting that Sony will officially reveal the headphones on that date.
