Well, we thought it might make an appearance during the Summer Games Festival Opening Night tonight and it did! SEGA has blessed us with a new feature Sonic X Dark Generation Introductory video And it comes with one October 25 release date.
While we’re excited to see when this one arrives, the real highlight of this new trailer is a closer look at the all-new Shadow campaign. This fresh story will have you speeding through iconic locations from Hedgehog’s history to take on Black Doom. Oh.
Sonic X Shadow Generations is a complete remaster of the 2011 2D/3D game that came to the 3DS. For those who have never played the original, expect time travel, interdimensional action, and a celebration of all things Blue Blur.

SGF’s announcement also confirmed that Generations is now available for pre-order. Early purchasers will receive ‘Gerald Robotnik’s Diary’ and access to the polygonal ‘Sound Adventure Legacy Skin’.
The digital deluxe edition of the game will let you play the game three days early and offer a number of unique bonuses including a digital artbook and soundtrack, additional skins for Shadow, and more .
