During Sonic Central’s live stream today, Sega released a new trailer for Sonic Origins. The collection, which brings together some of Sonic’s most beloved and classic titles, will launch later this month.

Sonic Origins contains Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Sonic 3 & Knuckles, and Sonic CD. Each game has been completely remastered and includes new features. In addition to the various missions you can complete for coins to unlock historic properties from the past, all games are free to play for limited lives and in the widescreen, plus new animations have been added to expand the story of those original games.
Sonic Origins will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC on June 23. For more on Sonic Origins, check out our 2021 interview with the director. Sonic creator and leader Takashi Iizuka here.
