Latest Solo smart glasses have their own eyes. The company announced AirGo Vision, its first smart glasses with GPT-4o And artificial intelligence reproduction (AI) can analyze visual input.
So why do we need glasses? ChatGPT? Instead of using a service like Google Lens on your phone to look something up, Solos says AirGo Vision will provide real-time information based on visual input, such as identifying people, objects or landmarks (similar to Ray-Ban Smart Glasses by Meta), or walking directions, checking the price of something, etc

The wearer can take photos hands-free to ask for information. Examples might include checking the next step in a recipe or asking where to buy an item.
This glasses can answer many questions at the same time. An example search in Solos’ press release reads: “What am I looking at and how much does it cost? Is there a better price elsewhere?”

The AirGo Vision will have interchangeable frames, meaning you can decide whether you want the smart glasses with a front camera or without one.
The built-in LED notification light will flash a discrete light to let you know you have an alert. Solos says visual alerts can be helpful in noisy environments where notifications might be missed, quiet environments where someone has turned notifications off, and for users who may be hearing impaired.

AirGo Vision isn’t Solos’ first foray into AI-powered smart glasses. The company has revealed Solos AirGo3 Smart Glasses with ChatGPT at CES 2024. While the Solos AirGo3 uses audio to let you talk to ChatGPT, the AirGo Vision glasses let you find information using visual input.
AirGo Vision will be available later this year, with three LED-only frame styles scheduled to launch in July and a suggested retail price of $249.99.
