Société Générale SA is set to appoint investment banker Slawomir Krupa as its next chief executive, according to people familiar with the decision, replacing Frederic Oudea who will leave next year after managing the bank through multiple crises.
Mr. Krupa will be appointed head of investment banking business in 2021. Prior to that, he led the bank’s business in the Americas and worked on key market functions for Société Générale, including including securitization and leveraged finance.
