Highsmith’s CPR celebration, which has since gone viral, comes less than a week after Hamlin collapsed onto the field following a cardiac arrest during Monday’s game between the Hamlin’s Buffalo Bills and the Cincinnati Bengals.

Thankfully, Hamlin has recovered considerably in the days since, and even posted Instagram for the first time since waking up from a medically induced coma.
However, fans were not satisfied and pursued the Steelers calling them “classless” and “totally trash”.
“Glad they were eliminated,” wrote one fan who retweeted the clip. “Absolutely trash,” another person retweeted the video.
“Classless Steelers with CPR celebration,” another wrote.
“I know I don’t just see a Steelers player CPR on Alex Highsmith during a layoff celebration…” noted a fourth commenter.
“Is the Steelers CPR celebration real? From today?” another tweet.
“Wow Steelers actually do a cpr celebration on alex highsmith when all around the NFL Others are sending love and prayers this week. You should feel ashamed,” one person commented.

However, not all of Hamlin’s NFL colleagues are as emotionless, with a clip of the players kneeling together to pray for Hamlin also going viral.

Hamlin posts on Instagram for the first time since the cardiac arrest
Meanwhile, Hamlin himself took to Instagram this week ahead of Sunday’s Bills game against the New England Patriots, which saw Buffalo win 35-23.
“The way he brings the world together in prayer is amazing! God is so good 🙌🏾! So happy for this young man and his family 💙💙💙,” one person commented on Hamlin’s post.
“This is what happens when we pray together! A nation under God🙌🏾” another wrote.
