Social media is reacting to Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden’s decision to step down.
NBC The 81-year-old made the announcement on Sunday, July 21, news reports said.

The US leader used X, formerly known as Twitter, to make the announcement. He stated, “I believe it is in the best interests of my party and the country for me to step down and focus on fulfilling my duties as President for the remainder of my term.” Additionally, Biden said he will speak publicly later in the week about “decision” dropout.
Social media was free to comment on Joe’s decision. Some X users were confused and concerned about what would happen now that the President was no longer running for office.

The President has confirmed his Vice President, Kamala Harris to replace him. Biden said he was giving her the “full support” and urge “Democrats…come together to defeat Trump.”

Biden is endorsing Kamala, but she hasn’t officially clinched the Democratic ticket. Only time will tell whether our next president will pee in the Oval Office.
