Slack’s new lists feature brings project management to its app
Project management across demanding organizations Extensive team communication and an effective strategy. Typically, requirements for project management and behind-the-scenes collaboration, such as assigning and tracking tasks, have appeared across different platforms — until now.
On Thursday, Salesforce announced the list looseness, a new feature that allows users to manage and track projects without leaving the app. With lists, all project management needs are available in one place, eliminating the need for context switching and encouraging cross-collaboration.

As the image at the top of the article shows, the list view includes a table view, similar to the inner view other project management platforms like Asanaallows users to visualize assigned tasks and track their status.
Teams can also visualize assigned tasks in a simple list view, showing status, priority, owner, due date, and file, or a team list view, grouping Tasks based on user needs:
Whether users use list or board views, they can add comments that @ specific team members to start a conversation through a message thread on the list item, helping to regulate progress of easier tasks:
Lists also work with Workflow builderSlack’s no-code automation tool, aimed at helping users automate certain tasks in their workflow.

Slack says the lists feature will be included in all paid plans and the rollout begins today, with the feature becoming available to all Slack users in the coming months.
