Several organizations in Russia have their Slack accounts locked without notice Axios. Sales force published announced earlier this month that it would withdraw from business in Russia. The company says it has a very small number of customers in the country, and it started exiting those relationships last week. In a statement, Slack told Axios:
“Slack is required to take action to comply with sanctions regulations in the United States and other countries where we operate, including in some cases suspending accounts without notice, We are contacting affected customers as to the impact of these actions on their account status, if permitted by law.”
While Slack does not delete data owned by the Russian customer it has suspended, sanctioned organizations will also not have access to their data until the sanctions affect them. they are removed.
