Six dead and 20 wounded as gunman opens fire in school in Russia | World News
At least six people were killed and 20 injured in a shooting at a school in the Russian city of Izhevsk, Russian state news agency TASS reported, citing local police.
Interfax cited local police as saying they were still trying to arrest the gunman. Some media reports said the man turned the gun on himself.
Governor Alexander Brechalov of the Udmurtia region, the capital of Izhevsk, said he had arrived at the city’s School No. 88 and that security services and ambulance crews were present, according to a message on the Telegram messenger app.
