Be sure to leave the door open on the battle bus as Silk Sonic’s Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak are joining the fray via Fortnite’s Icon Series.
The Grammy-nominated duo will officially be added to Fortnite next Thursday, February 10, at 7 p.m. ET. However, before their outfits and accessories land in the Fortnite Item Store, a Silk Sonic Trophy will take place on Monday, February 7th. While everyone will have access to the items Silk Sonic on February 10th, you can get them earlier through the Silk Sonic Cup three days ago.
Furthermore, you’ll be able to listen to some Silk Sonic music thanks to Fortnite’s new in-game radio, Icon Radio. For example, while driving a car, you can listen to songs by Silk Sonic, Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak. Additionally, Bootsy Collins will host the radio show.
Here are the Silk Sonic items you’ll see soon in Fortnite:
- Bruno Mars costume (part of the Silk Sonic set)
- Anderson .Paak costume (part of the Silk Sonic set)
- Sound Scepter Pickaxe (sold with Bruno Mars skin – becomes Back Bling when not in use)
- Sonic Snare Back Bling (sold with Anderson .Paak skin)
- Boom Bap Pickaxe
- Freedom Wheels emoji (spin lil and redo)
Both Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak outfits come with alternate styles. If you’re looking for a new piece of music to play before a game, you can buy Somebody This Fly corridor road. Also you can buy Leave the door open Emojis to use mid-match.
As mentioned earlier, you can get all of these items in the Fortnite Item Store on February 10th, but you can also earn some of them in the Silk Sonic Cup on February 7th. 2.
“Play up to 10 matches in a three-hour period in your region,” says an Epic Games blog post. “Region-specific event times can be found in the ‘Competition’ tab in the game. For the number of points required to unlock costumes and accessories in your region, see the rules. official Silk Sonic Cup.”

- 12: 10 points
- 13: 9 points
- 14: 8 points
- 15: 7 points
- 16: 6 points
- 17: 5 points
- Days 18-19: 4 points
- 20 – 21: 3 points
- Day 22 – 23: 2 points
- 24 – 25: 1 point
For each elimination you will also earn an extra point. To participate, you must have two-factor authentication enabled on your Epic account, and you must be level 50 or higher.
