A few months ago, it was announced Civilization VII will be available on Nintendo Switch on 2025.
At the time, we heard that more exciting features and improvements would be revealed in August, and now it’s been confirmed that a gameplay trailer will debut at Gamescom Live Opening Night on August 20, 2024.
Next up will be a special “game showcase” on Firaxis Games Twitch Channel. It will be a 20 minute deep dive.

It has also been confirmed that there will be a Civilization VII booth in Hall 6 at Gamescom (mid-way through). August 21-25) and at PAX West (August 31) will have a special panel dedicated to the game sharing some new insights and behind-the-scenes anecdotes about the creation of the new chapter. Fans will be able to watch the show live on PAX Twitch Channel.
