SHIB creators consider joining WEF plans to shape global metaverse policy

The World Economic Forum (WEF) is planning to draft policies around the metaverse that will work at a global level. To achieve this, WEF contacted the developers of Shiba Inu. Project lead and volunteer developer for Shiba Inu, who goes by the pseudonym ‘Shytoshi Kusama’, announced the development along with a Twitter poll. The Shiba Inu cryptocurrency was created by an anonymous developer named Ryoshi in August 2020 and as of Wednesday, November 23 has a market capitalization of $5 billion (approximately Rs 40,430).
in one Twitter pollKusama asked the crypto community to vote on whether Shiba Inu should accept the WEF proposal.
In the last few hours, nearly 20,000 voters voted and up to 62 percent of participants approved Shiba Inu join hands with WEF.
#ShibArmy I need a quick vote: We have been invited to work with the WORLD ECONOMIC FORUM as it relates to their global MV policy. Would love to know what you all think because it’s not our decision, it’s yours.

The Cryptocurrencies and blockchains areas are often brought to the table at several WEF events.
However, the offer to partner with a cryptocurrency platform is the first of such offers from the international lobbying and NGO organization based in Switzerland.
Over the past year, Shiba Inu has failed to maintain its impressive growth chart.
At the time of writing, the SHIB token is trading at $0.000090 (approximately Rs 0.000737).
However, SHIB token developers have been expanding the ecosystem of the meme coin.
Shiba Inu creators are working on a metaverse project called ‘SHIB: Super Universe’is being developed in Shibarium, a layer 2 solution for SHIB.
Back on January 18, Prime Minister Narendra Modi called cryptocurrencies a global challenge in his World Economic Forum speech. “I am sure there will be a positive dialogue in this direction in the discussions in Davos,” the Prime Minister added at the time.
