Sharon Stone Says She ‘Losts Custody’ Of Her Son Due To ‘Basic Instinct’ – Hollywood Life

One of by Sharon Stone The best moments on screen lead to one of the worst periods in her personal life. “I lost custody of my children,” Sharon, 64, said on the March 7 episode of Table for two with Bruce Bozzi podcast when discussing 1992 Basic instincts and its effect on her life. “When the judge asked my son, my little boy, ‘Did you know that I do sex movies?’ This is the kind of abuse of the system that makes it look like the kind of parent that I made that movie.”
Sharon added: “People are walking around without clothes on regular TV now, and you can see I could get naked in a possible sixteenth of a second – and I lost custody my child. She didn’t name the child she lost, but she mother of three sons – Roan Bronstein22, Laird stone17 and 16 years old Quynh Stone. Sharon gets married Phil Bronstein in 1998 and they adopted Roan in 2000, each Page Six.
Roan was eight years old when Sharon and Phil split in 2003 (they finalized their divorce in 2004), and Page Six reported that a judge denied Sharon’s request for full custody, believing that Phil “could provide a more stable environment at his San Francisco residence.” This move sent Sharon spiraling. She said on the podcast: “I went to the Mayo Clinic with an extra heart rate in the upper and lower chambers of the heart. “It broke my heart.”
Sharon tried again to gain primary custody of Roan in 2008, but she lost the appeal. She then adopted Laird in 2005 and Quin in 2007.
At that time, the Motion Picture Association of America wanted to award Basic instincts Rated NC-17 for graphic sex scenes, including the iconic scene in which Sharon doesn’t cross her legs in a white dress, revealing lack of underwear. Sharon said on the podcast: “People go show off their penises on Netflix now, but back in the day, what we were doing was very new. “This is a feature film from a major studio, and we have nudity, sex, homosexuality, all of which, in my day, broke the norm.”
At the beginning of the year, Sharon lost her brother, Patrick Strone. According to the coroner’s office, the 57-year-old man died of cardiac arrest due to heart disease. Sharon mourned her brother the day after his shocking death, posting a picture of herself with her sister. “RIP my brother Patrick Joseph StoneShe added.
