Shaquille O’Neal Shares He Had A Hip Replacement After Hospital Photographs – Hollywood Life
Shaquille O’Neal made the sports world interested on Sunday when he posted a photo of him hooked up to several IVs while lying in a hospital bed. “I am always watching [Ernie Johnson] And [Candace Parker],” he wrote. “Miss Y’all.” Without further explanation, people from Roy Hibbert (“Good friend, big man?”) to Steve Smith (“Get Well Big Fella”) sends love his way while wondering what caused Shaq, 51, to be hospitalized in the first place. The NBA champion cleared up his condition on March 20, saying he had had a hip replacement.
“Dear all interested,” Shaq began captioning his post. Instagram messages. “First, let me start by saying, ‘thank you.’ And in the end, I’m fine. Just get some BBL [Brazilian butt lift] work done, aka #hipreplacement.” Shaq’s animated gif shows his back bouncing better than a basketball to keep bringing the joke home. “But, yes,” he added, “I am fine. No need to worry.”

“Rescue. Can’t ignore that,” one fan joked on Shaq’s trophy-laden IG post. “Cheekquille O’Neal,” said another. “We need a dislike button,” joked the sports broadcaster Kristen Ledlow. “It’s good to know, Hips Don’t Lie, isn’t it, [Shakira]?” joke about Shaq’s old teammates Rick Fox.
There is a hint that Shaq received a bionic hip from Jeanne Edwards. The former ESPN/ABC sports broadcaster commented on Shaq’s original message. “Feel better, my friend! I just had a hip replacement a month ago. Back to the gym in two weeks…. maximum effort ahead!” she wrote.
Shaq recently got some fans belly hug after he made a good bet. Shaq made a bet with his Ernie Johnson on the University of Georgia – Texas Christian University football game. If the Bulldogs beat TCU Horned Frogs, Shaq says he will eat a frog. Since Georgia passed – 65-7 – EJ has served NBA on TNT served a plate of frog legs.
