October 18 episode of Bachelor in Paradise shows the consequences of what happened when seven couples share, with the girls being taken to another location and the boys remaining on the beach. Five new women are brought in to date men, while the women also discover that they will have new connections with five new men of their own. While many women are sulking as they wonder what’s going on on the beach, Shanae Ankney decided that she would experience Paradise to the fullest.
Shanae spent time with Logan Palmer before dividing the week. However, she received a dating card after the breakup, and asked for the newcomer Tyler Norris to go with her. “I think in life, you have to keep your options open,” admits Shanae. “Can relax a little and have a little fun!” Shanae and Tyler took part in a very intimate tantric yoga session during their date and things definitely got steamy.
At the end of the night, Shanae was ready to spend time with Tyler in the Boom Boom Room, but was “c*** – blocked” by Jill Chinwho cried all day because of separation Jacob Rapini. Though a failed night of passion for Shanae and Tyler, she made it clear that she was feeling him. She even said she felt more “connected” to Tyler than Logan at the time.
Meanwhile, Logan is torn about whether he wants to discover something with any of the five new women. At first, he held back, even then Aaron Clancy tell him that Sarah Hamrick took care of him. “I wanted to have fun, but I also couldn’t help thinking about Shanae’s handling of the situation,” Logan explained. “Shanae and I have a really strong bond. She’s someone I’m happy with and someone I want to be with. So I’m not looking for more dates and I think she feels the same way. I’m confident that there won’t be much that can mess up our relationship.”
Logan had no clue that Shanae was dating another guy at the time. “I’m super in my head,” he said Andrew Spencer. “I feel loyal to Shanae for choosing me [at the rose ceremony]. I am struggling with this appreciation and loyalty compared to… what would she do if she were in the position where I am now? I didn’t come out the other side with an answer. I’m still juggling.” Andrew reminds Logan that before the final rose ceremony, Shanae openly discovered a connection to James Bonsall, as well as Logan. She decides to give Logan the rose but kisses James in front of him just hours before.
So when Sarah received the dating card and asked Logan to come with her, he decided to accept. “I am very excited. I’m proud. But I was also terrified of ruining something I had with Shanae,” Logan admitted. “I have to get out of my head. I have to be able to put my worries about Shanae on the side and be with Sarah and I’ll figure that out when I get back. “
Logan and Sarah go horseback riding and then go on a date on the beach, where they start swimming, just like Shanae and Tyler are in the pool. “I was scared to hold this girl’s hand because I didn’t know how it would affect my relationship with Shanae,” Logan said. “But I had to watch her date someone for four days and it was clear to my face. I don’t know where it will go [with Sarah], but I need to have a wide angle of everyone in the picture and be able to point out one person and say, ‘I’m sure of you.’ I gave Shanae that chance and I’m giving myself that chance too.”
As the days passed, Logan thought little of it and told Sarah that he was happy to be dating her. Back at the beach, he also opens up to some guys about how he feels. “I just had a great one-on-one match,” he said. “I’m so glad I did. I had to share things about myself and learn about her. She is a good girl. Sarah’s dope. “However, we’ll have to see what happens when Logan and Shanae are brought back together next week!
