A real strongman in Bangladeshi cricket, Shakib Al Hasan is an extremely popular figure in his country. However, such popularity is sometimes to the great detriment of cricketers who achieve such a feat. In a video that surfaced on social media, Shakib was literally taken by fans who didn’t want to miss a photo opportunity with the Bangladeshi all-around athlete. However, chaos broke out at an event when Shakib was leaving the venue, making it really difficult for him and his companions to control the situation.

In the video, Shakib appears to be leaving a venue after an event and is surrounded by hundreds of fans. Some grabbed his shirt, others pushed him. In one case, Shakib also nearly fell to the floor but managed to keep his balance and continued to try to leave the venue as soon as possible.

Shakib appeared to have no security around him as he left the venue. Thankfully, the cricketer didn’t lose his cool in front of over-excited fans.

Before that, another video went viral in which one could see Shakib hitting a fan with his own hat. The fan probably said something that angered the Bangladeshi star. Shakib grabbed the fan’s hat and started hitting him mercilessly. He was forcibly removed to prevent the situation from escalating further.

On the ticketing front, the Bangladesh team led by Shakib al Hasan won a historic 3-0 victory over England in the recently concluded T20I series at home. The two teams have played against each other in a previous series of ODIs. that is Jos Buttler– lead won the ODI mission, defeating Bangladesh with a score of 2-1.
