Records continue to accumulate for Pathaan, the new film by Shah Rukh Khan and has been a huge success at the box office. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh reports ticket sales in India totaling Rs 296.50 in six days. Pathaan pass Monday’s test with a respectable Rs 25.50 crore and aim for a new record on Day 7, i.e. today. This means that after the 7th Day collections are reported tomorrow, Pathaan will pass the Rs 300 crore mark faster than the Hindi dub of Baahubali: Conclusion and KGF: Chapter 2previous record holder in the Hindi film industry. Pathaan will earn Rs 300 crore at the domestic box office in a week, faster Baahubali: Conclusion10 days and KGF: Chapter 2‘s 11 (Hindi dubs of these films).

Tamil and Telugu dub of Pathaan has yielded Rs 10.75 crore so far, adding Rs 1 crore on Monday to the previous five days’ earnings.

The film will become “fastest to get into the Rs 300 club,” tweeted Taran Adarsh with the list of the fastest three centuries ago. Pathaan, Baahubali: Conclusion and KGF: Chapter 2 followed by Dangal, Sanju, Tiger Zinda Hai, PK, War, Bajrangi Bhaijaan and King.

The film’s worldwide gross is over Rs 540 crore as of yesterday.
Pathaan broke multiple records – it was Bollywood’s biggest opening and the fastest grossing Rs 200 and Rs 250 crore. It is also the only Hindi movie to earn almost Rs 70 crore in one day.
Pathaan stars Shah Rukh Khan as a RAW agent who teams up with Deepika Padukone’s character on a counterterrorism mission against rogue agent Jim, played by John Abraham. Directed by Siddharth Anand, Pathaan Released on January 25th.
