The low denim trend has officially hit an all-time high. Consider Tracee Ellis Ross’ jean heels at Paris Fashion Week. After openly refused and reluctantly accept the success of controversial jeans trend, we can’t help but marvel at this unexpected new denim accessory. Ross rocked a pair of heels from Loewe Fall 2022 Collection It seems to cut the waist and legs out of a pair of jeans, resulting in a bunch of tight fabric around her ankles that are somehow, at the same time very dramatic and chic.
Like the missing fabric on the top half of a low-rise jeans, Ross’ heels have a denim overlay around a standard black pointed heel, leaving us wondering what could be hiding under all of this quality. whether that. Extra clothes? Her phone? Snacks? “BLUE JEAN BABY,” Ross captioned the photos of the artistic look. “Thank you @loewe @jonathan.anderson for a beautiful show of wearable art.”
Ross, styled by Karla WelchSmartly pair the look with a patchwork denim jacket layered over an asymmetrical jacket, black leather pants and a matching evening coat.
As we walked through the tempting shoes, we also spotted Ross’ Loewe handbag, and we couldn’t decide if the purse or the heels was where she hid her extra lipstick and backup mascara.
