SEA Games: Philippines wins gold, bronze in women’s triathlon

MANILA, Philippines — Kim Mangrobang on Saturday continued her dominance in the women’s individual triathlon at the 31st Southeast Asian Games in Vietnam.
Mangrobang retained his title after reaching 2:13,310 to take the gold.
However, the Philippines failed to get a one-two this time with Raven Faith Alcoseba settling the bronze with a time of 2:18,300.
Inge Prasetyo of Indonesia won the silver medal with a score of 2: 16,380.
Mangrobang, 30, scored a gold double for the Philippines triathlon in the second Olympics in a row.
Fernando Casares and Andrew Kim Remolino won one of two for the Philippines in the men’s individual event.
