Every time San Diego Comic-Con comes out, we get a ton of convention-specific collections to admire. While many of us will probably never use some of these unless we actually go to the show or find a supplier online, they are always fun to look at. This year, Funko will be releasing a series of SDCC exclusive Pop songs! data. Game informant can exclusively reveal the vinyl image of Pop Games: Sonic – Super Sonic First Appearance.
This version of Super Sonic has the ability to glow in the dark, honoring his signature golden aura from games, TV shows, comic books, and movies. This vinyl figure measures approximately 5.3 inches and gives the appearance that it is hovering above its stand. Although I didn’t see the silhouette directly, the floating illusion can be combined with the glow-in-the-dark feature to create a wonderful effect when the light is dim.
This San Diego Comic-Con Exclusive Funko Pop! figure comes in a box with a “2022 Summer Convention Exclusive” sticker or a “2022 San Diego Comic-Con” sticker on the box. Although the image in the gallery above features a second image, the sticker on the box is not guaranteed. This year marks the epic return of the iconic convention at the San Diego Convention Center for the first time since 2019. San Diego Comic-Con runs from July 21 to July 24.
