During Brazil’s Comic-Con Experience (CCXP) event, which celebrates all forms of fandom, Marvel premiered its new Ant-Man and Wasp: Quantumania trailers, which featured Kang the Conquerer, played by Jonathan Majors. role-playing, under a terrifying light.
Comic fans will know Kang as one of Marvel’s greatest villains who will finally hit the big screen in the third Ant-Man movie. Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lily continue to play famous superheroes, but accompanying this trip will be the daughter of Scott Lang (Rudd), Cassie (Kathryn Newton). Check out the videos below.
Half the clip tells the story of Scott and his evolution from a petty criminal to a superhero that saves the world. In the comics, Scott is the second person to hold the Ant-Man title, and they have kept that title in the MCU with Michael Douglas as Hank Pym (who we saw in the classic Ant-Man costume in Ant- Man and The Wasp).
The rest of it shows us more of the Quantum Realm as well as Kang’s foreboding message to Scott telling him he’s out of his league. Obviously, with the first half of the trailer, we know Scott as a hero more than he ever thought.
Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is scheduled to be released in the United States on February 17, 2023, as the first film of the MCU’s Phase Five.
