Samosa Recipe: How to make Halwai-style Samosa at home

First, you will need to prepare the dough to cover the samosa and then the aloo masala stuffing.

Knead the maida, oil, ajwain and water and let the dough rest. Meanwhile, boil the potatoes, peel and mash them. Next, prepare a tadka with buttermilk, garlic, cumin seeds, red chili powder and ginger. Pour the tadka over the boiled mashed potatoes and mix well. Add chaat masala, green chili and other spices.

Roll out the dough and divide it into small balls. Roll it into the desired samosa shape, and fill it with aloo stuffing. Close the samosas and fry the samosas until they are golden brown.
