The Plaza Hotel in Kobe has opened seven different locations Sanrio room for guests staying. There’s no information on the Hotel Plaza or Sanrio websites about when this partnership will end.
You will be able to stay in rooms focused on: My Melody, Hangyodon, Tuxedo Sam, Keroppi, Pochacco, Pekkle and Badtz-Maru. Each room has wallpaper, bed covers, and tables with selected characters on them. The walls and furniture also carry the character’s colors. For example, the Pekkle room is a vibrant yellow, while the Tuxedo Sam room is a strong blue.

You’ll be able to take home some exclusive goods and amenities, including slippers, tote bags, handkerchiefs, and slippers. The hotel’s plan also includes a breakfast buffet at the hotel’s Sora restaurant. It looks like there won’t be any Sanrio-related food items.
Sanrio tends to partner with hotels in Japan, launching themed rooms and merchandise for a limited time. Earlier this year, New Otani Hotel in Hakata announced that it will have two Sanrio collaboration rooms with Pompompurin. New Otani Hotel also allows guests to take home Pompompurin toiletries.
