What’s being said is that Teofimo kept asking for his corner after the game, “Do I still get it?” As bad as Teofimo looked last night against Sandor Martin and his previous game against Pedro Campa, he’s not the same anymore. He looks like a ruined warrior.
It would be a good idea if Teofimo contact George Kambosos Jr and see if he can get him into his camp to teach him to get the mojo back.
With the help of Kambosos, Teofimo was able to get back to where he was before the Australians ruined him with his class performance last year.
Teofimo appears to have lost the entire match, and some feel that Australia’s Kambosos has permanently ruined his morale by taking him down last year. Kambosos messed with Teofimo’s mind before, during, and after the battle, and he hasn’t looked the same since.
Since that match, Teofimo has looked out of place in the ring, and he doesn’t have the swagger of confidence he had before the Kambosos came to him. Teofimo now looks unsure of himself and he seems to lose confidence after being hit back.
Last night, Teofimo looked scared to throw a punch as he often had to pay the price every time he let go, with Sandor landing with a right hook to the head.
Teofimo was knocked down in the second round from a Sandor right hook counterattack and then knocked down in the seventh round. Incredibly, the referee deemed the seventh round knock-out a slip, thus giving Teofimo a substantial break. On replay, it was clear that a clean punch knocked Sandor’s Teofimo down.
