Samsung Developer Conference (SDC) 2022 took place on Thursday in San Francisco, USA. During this event, the Korean tech giant officially announced One UI 5.0 based on Android 13. It showcased some key features of One UI 5.0, including Customs Procedures and Mode, screen Dynamic Lock etc. Samsung also revealed that it will be releasing the stable version of this operating system for the first time to the Galaxy S22 series. No exact date has been set for the release, however, it should be released at the end of October.

One UI 5.0 beta is already available for the Galaxy S22 smartphone in India. Previously, it was Tip that Samsung may roll out the stable One UI 5.0 to the Galaxy S22 series on October 17 or October 19.
Unfortunately, Samsung has not hinted that other Galaxy smartphones will receive the stable One UI 5.0 update any time soon. Therefore, Galaxy S21 series, Galaxy Z Fold 4, Galaxy Z Flip 4, Galaxy Z Fold 3and Galaxy Z Flip 3 users may have to wait until 2023 to get it Android 13based on One UI 5.0.
During the SDC 2022 keynote, Samsung introduced some main function that the stable One UI 5.0 will bring. These include new personalization options like Custom Modes and Processes, and Dynamic Lock Screens. There’s also a new Bixby Text Call feature, which allows the Bixby Voice assistant to answer your calls and share your typed messages with callers. Samsung has also added the Samsung Privileged Health SDK, allowing developers to take advantage of the BioActive Sensor on Galaxy Watch 4.
