Samsung’s flagship NVMe SSD, the 990 Pro, has been hit by a health plague that has caused many users to turn to the Internet in disgust because of their expensive cost. SSD reduce health scores for a short period of time.

In response to one user who reported a 4% drop in health over a two-month period, AlwinS said:
“This behavior has reached the ears of colleagues from the development department. Suspicious symptoms are currently being investigated and you will be notified if there is any progress. If you experience any inconvenience while using the Samsung 990 PRO, we apologize.”
DavidB, another moderator on the forum, commented that Samsung technicians were able to reproduce the error “under certain conditions of use”, suggesting that a potential problem was isolated. .
DavidB continued: “To fix the issue, Samsung is expected to release a firmware update in February.”
While many have complained that the reputation brand has let them down, it is clear that Samsung remains committed to serving its customers with this particular change that is expected to take about a month from the start. at first notice until patch is available. For now, however, 990 Pro users will have to hold and wait.
