Samsung India revenue grew 10% in FY22, highest in 5 years: Tofler


Samsung India Electronics’ after-tax profit for fiscal year 22 fell 4.86% to Rs. 3,844.40 crore, while its operating revenue increased 8.65% to Rs. 82,451.60 crore, said the data was accessed by business intelligence platform Tofler.

This electronics company reported NPAT (profit after tax) of Rs. 4,040.80 crore and its operating revenue is at Rs. 75,886.30 crore for the year ended 31 March 2021.

Samsung IndiaEBITDA of (Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization) is almost unchanged at Rs. 7,081.80 crore in the latest 22 fiscal year against Rs. 7,093.40 crore.

Its other earnings rose 77.89 percent to Rs. 2,873.20 crore for the year ended 31 March 2022.

Samsung India’s total revenue increased 10.09% to Rs. 85,324.80 crore in fiscal year 22 against Rs. 77,501.40 crore a year ago.

This is the highest level in five years, according to Tofler data.

Samsung India’s total revenue for fiscal year 18 stood at Rs. 61,065.60 crore and Rs. 73,085.90 crore in fiscal year 19. It was at Rs. 78,651.20 crore in fiscal year 20.

Total cost of Samsung India at Rs. 79,758.90 crore for fiscal 2021-22, an increase of 10.93%, compared to Rs. 71,899 crore.
