SAMSUNG to swear to make foldable phones popular last year and so far, more and more people embrace form factor. In fact, the tech giant has previously said that more people switch brands for the Galaxy Flip 3 rather than for its flagship devices. The company is expected to reveal its next foldable phone in just a few days, but those who want to know what will happen can take a peek at the upcoming phones through the photos. Marketing photos leaked by Evan Blass. He posted pictures of Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Z Fold 4 in different colors and posing at different angles on 91Mobiles.
Based on the renders, the Z Flip 4 will be available in purple, blue, black, and yellow. Meanwhile, the Z Fold 4 will be available in black, dark gray and beige colors. Visually, they look quite similar to the current generation of foldables and there are no obvious design differences. We will probably find out the slight differences between them after Samsung officially launches the device.
Like The Verge Note, the images don’t exactly show whether the Fold 4 has an under-display selfie camera of its predecessor and whether it will eventually have a slot for the S Pen. Since the Fold 3 supports input from Samsung’s S Pen, there have been speculations that the next version will have a slot for the stylus. However, most recent report say it can’t be one after all.
We won’t know for sure until Samsung launches these devices. The good news is that we won’t have to wait long: Its next Unpacked event is slated for August 10. For now, you can check out the leaked renders of the Fold 4 and Flip 4 below:
