Samsung confirms camera blur issue on Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23+, says there will be a fix

SAMSUNG launched Galaxy S23 series earlier this year in February. While flagship phones come with an enhanced camera experience, some Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23+ users have reported blurry camera issues when taking close-up photos. Now, Samsung has also confirmed the issue on its community page in Europe. The company said it is working on a fix for this issue through a software update. The Korean company has also explained the reason behind the problem as well as how to solve it to prevent blurring.
Samsung adopts it community pages confirmed that the area around the subject looks a bit blurry in the close-up shots taken with the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23+. The company also explains that the rear wide-angle camera on the S23 and S23+ has a bright aperture, so the background of the image is a bit blurry. Samsung has said that the problem will be fixed through a software update.
Meanwhile, Samsung has also shared some ways to fix blurry camera issues on Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23+. Samsung has recommended that users take photos from a bit further away, or hold the phone vertically while taking the photo. It added that holding the phone horizontally or tilted can make the background blurry.
SAMSUNG show Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+ and Galaxy S23 Ultra early this year in February. The Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23+ share many similarities, including a 6.6-inch full-HD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a refresh rate ranging from 48Hz to 120Hz and a touch sampling rate of 240Hz in game mode. . Both phones are powered by a modified version of Qualcomm’s latest chipset i.e. Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Mobile Platform for Galaxy.
As for optics, the phone has a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 50-megapixel primary wide-angle sensor, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 10-megapixel telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. The phones also have a 12-megapixel selfie camera.
