Sam Jones makes KO prediction for Jake Paul vs Tommy Fury
Sam Jones has predicted this weekend’s big fight between Jake Paul and Tommy Fury.
The clash at Diriyah Arena in Saudi Arabia is just days away and is considered decisive or failed for both.
And while Jones explained to boxing society he feels more pressure on Fury, he still believes he will get rid of the rude YouTuber.
“There’s an argument to be made that Jake Paul has beaten opponents better than Tommy Fury, by far.”
“But I really think you’re going to see a good version of Tommy Fury in this fight. Because one; his family will reject him, two; he will never be able to hit the box again and three; it will be very difficult for him to be in the ring at a boxing event again.”
“It’s a shame for him if he loses.”
“I really believe Tommy Fury will beat Jake Paul.”
This Sunday is actually the third time Paul and Fury are scheduled to fight, with Fury withdrawing on both previous occasions – the first due to injury. and then after being denied entry to the United States.
Many in the boxing world share Jones’ belief that the pressure to go into the fight is on Fury’s shoulders, even on him. John’s father and brother Tyson publicly begged him to “stay in Saudi Arabia” if he fails to send ‘Problem Child’.
So far, Fury has mainly fought laners, while Paul’s opponents have, for the most part, been mostly former MMA fighters.
That said, this weekend’s blockbuster clash is widely predicted to be the toughest task of either man’s career.
The two agreed to bet money on ‘all or nothing’ in a fiery press conferenceIt adds even more excitement to the game.
The fight has landed on pay per view on BT Sport Box Office in UK, with a set price of £19.95. US fans can watch through ESPN+ for $49.99.
