Actor and director Satish Kaushik was cremated in Oshiwara, Mumbai on Thursday night, news agency ANI reported. The 66-year-old filmmaker died in New Delhi, allegedly from a heart attack. Bollywood stars Salman Khan, Shilpa Shetty, Ranbir Kapoor, Farhan Akhtar, Abhishek Bachchan, Ishaan Khatter, Pankaj Tripathi, Shehnaaz Gill and others have arrived at Satish Kaushik’s Mumbai residence to pay their last respects to the actor. The actor and filmmaker passed away in New Delhi. is said to have had a heart attack. Salman Khan, who arrived late in the evening, was seen making his way through the crowd to reach the late actor’s residence. Shilpa Shetty arrived earlier and was discovered outside the house. Ranbir Kapoor, Farhan Akhtar with their wives Shibani Dandekar and Abhishek Bachchan also visited the late actor’s home. Here is some images below:

Veteran actor and Satish Kaushik’s close friend Anupam Kher was among the first to visit his home. Javed Akhtar, Rakesh Roshan, Boney-Arjun Kapoor, Raj Babbar, Tanvi Azmi, Johnny Lever, Anu Malik were among others who were discovered at the late actor’s residence earlier in the day. Satish Kaushik arrived in Delhi on Wednesday to attend a close friend’s Holi party. However, around 1 a.m. later, he was reported to have suffered a heart attack while on his way to the hospital. Anupam Kher told PTI, “He felt uncomfortable and he told the driver to take him to the hospital and on the way he had a heart attack around 1am.”
The day before his death, Satish Kaushik celebrated Holi with his industry friends at Javed Akhtar’s Mumbai residence.
Satish Kaushik is an actor, director, producer, comedian and screenwriter. He is known for his roles in Calendar in Mr. IndiaPappu pager in Deewana Matanaand Chanu Ahmed in Sarah Gavron’s British film brick alley. Additionally, he has twice won the Filmfare Best Comedian Award – in 1990 for Ram Lakhan and in 1997 for Saajan Chale Sasural.
