Saffron Beach Winner Doubles 1 will be offered at Tattersalls

Saffron Beach | Tattersalls
Group 1 double winner Saffron Beach (Ire) (New Bay {GB}) will be offered during the Tattersalls December Sale running from November 28 to December 1.
Trained by Jane Chapple-Hyam to win the Sun Chariot S. at Newmarket last season, Saffron Beach doubled her Group 1 score when she landed the Prix Rothschild at Deauville this year, and she’ll be highlighting the new Scepter Session at Tattersalls on Tuesday, November 29.
Saffron Beach was purchased from Ballylinch Stud at the Tattersalls December Foal Sale by Norris/Huntingdon and has won five Group races in 12 career starts for owners Lucy Sangster, James Wigan and Ollie Sangster.
She will be consigned at the sale by her trainer, who commented: “Saffron Beach is a very special beach. Amazing and supremely talented, she’s also incredibly brave and steadfast. People like her don’t hang around often.”
Saffron Beach is the second pony of Raven’s Pass Falling Petals (Ire) winning maes, also the dam of victory Eshkaal, 3 years old and has a brother and sister aspiring to win Group 1 of Chappe-Hyam in the land contest.
Tattersalls President Edmond Mahony said, “The large profit margins of both her Group 1 wins are testament to Saffron Beach’s exceptional ability, and she has been an outstanding race for Jane Chapple -Hyam and her owner.
“It is an honor and pleasure to be asked to offer a piece of her caliber at the Tattersalls December Mares Sale and there is absolutely no doubt that she will be one of the highlights of the new Scepter Sessions.”
