Safaree Samuels claps back when people criticize his rapping skills
Safaree Samuels sick of criticism attacking his rapping skills. Samuels mention the topic on Monday after a freestyle throwback sport gained attention on social media.
Safaree wrote in an Instagram caption: “Please hate me cause my name is clickbait and is searched a lot, but I am good. “2023 I am their son.”
The free throw back style triggered Safaree’s applause from a November 2017 episode of the Breakfast Club. Throughout the episode, Charlamagne Tha God makes hilarious jokes about Safaree’s music. Finally, they come to the point where Saferee calls himself “one of the best rappers in the world” before spraying his stats. Charlamagne then challenged him to spit 16 bars. When the freestyle ended, Charlamagne hit him with: “That is not where.”
“No, it’s not. No, that’s not it. No, that’s not all of you. You were too aggressive man. Too exaggerated, slow down.
Safaree shares his free style on swaying in the morning
Now, Charlamagne’s freestyle and reactive style goes viral every few years. And, apparently, Samuels is TYAD. In his clapping post, he included a clip of his 2015 freestyle while appearing on Sway In The Morning.
Even though Sway told him to “bring a verse,” the artist told him he wanted to do it from scratch. He rapped for a few minutes before starting the clip he shared on social media.
“Let me guess you’ve never seen this before?!?!?!? N****s keep running with that Charlamagne clip because it’s so funny it’s his job to make you shut up and make it fun. That clip wouldn’t go viral if he said it was hot. Go smoke uno madda! All you choose and choose. In 2023 we are HARD @realsway, I love you and you have always been an amazing person to this culture.”
Meanwhile, people on Twitter took the opportunity to comment on BOTH freestyle. And the reactions on Twitter and IG are everywhere, from Charlamagne’s energy in 2017 to debates about his contributions to Nicki Minaj’s early music, his reality TV career and even a hilarious compliment in between.
I will never forget this Safaree nigga said freely to Sway “I am watching porn, these niggas do not beat”
