It is official! Safaree and Erica Mena Samuels’ marriage broke down, and they completed the divorce proceedings. Based on TMZA judge signed off on the divorce on September 12 after the reality TV stars agreed on the terms of the arbitration.
As we have previously reported, Erica filed for divorce in May 2021. The divorce documents were filed in Fayette County Superior Court in Georgia. At the time, Erica was said to claim “primary custody” of their daughter Safire but is said to have agreed to share joint legal custody of Safire with Safaree. In addition to guardianship, the court documents also address the couple’s life and finances.
Erica sought to retain the “exclusive use” of the couple’s home. If you recall, Erica and Safaree’s house was burgled last May. Although the couple had a very rocky relationship, everything seemed to be going smoothly in court. Under the terms, Safaree would pay Erica $4,305 a month in child support for their children, Safire and Legend. It’s not clear what the final custody agreement was, but reports suggest the two have lived separately since filing and share joint custody. Additionally, Erica will release Samuels and revert to her maiden name Mena.

Safaree has shared countless videos on social networks, spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Neither Safaree nor Erica spoke out about the divorce being final, but that didn’t stop the Roommates from giving their two cents! More than 3,000 comments on the news. One commented, referring to Safaree’s famous quote, “Erica said she would be REAL IIIGHHHTTTT.” Another commented, “$4,000 monthly!!! She is about to have a prom until the safaree can’t pay any more!!! “
